How to write the pages
A single number is one page, a dash joins a range, and a dash with nothing after it means to the end: 8- is page 8 onwards, and -4 is the first four pages. Commas separate parts. Typing all keeps every page.
Extract or delete?
They give the same result from opposite directions. Extract when you know the few pages you want; delete when you know the few you do not. Both are on this page: select pages and press Delete, or type the ones to keep.
Order of the extracted pages
Pages come out in the order they have in the document, not the order you typed them, so 5, 1-3 gives pages 1, 2, 3 and then 5. To change the order, reorder the pages in the list first.
No limits, and why that is possible
Most online PDF tools upload your file to a server, do the work there and send it back, so they pay for every job and have to ration it. This tool does the work inside your browser instead, so one more file costs nothing and there is nothing to ration. That also means your document never leaves your device.

How do I extract one page from a PDF?
Type its number, such as 5, in the Pages box and download. You get a one-page PDF.
Can I extract pages from several PDFs at once?
Yes. Add all the files, and the pages from every file appear in one list; the numbers you type count across that whole list.
Does extracting remove the pages from my original file?
No. Your original is never changed; you get a new PDF with only the pages you named.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool runs in your browser: your files are read and written on your own device and nothing is sent to a server. You can check this yourself by opening your browser's network tab while you use it.
Is there a limit on file size, pages or number of files?
We set none: no cap on files, pages or megabytes, no daily limit and no sign-up. The only limit is your device's memory, and the tool warns you when the files you add come to more than about 400 MB.
What can this not do?
It works on pages: it reorders, turns, deletes, splits, merges and compresses them, and converts pictures and pages. It does not read the text in a scan (no OCR), edit the words inside a page, open password-protected PDFs, or convert to Word or Excel.
Does it add a watermark or anything else to my pages?
No watermark and nothing drawn on your pages. The only trace is the PDF's Producer field, which says the file was made by LetRelay free PDF tools.
