Merge PDF files

Drop two or more PDFs (or pictures) into the page, drag the pages into the order you want, and download one PDF. There is no limit on files or size, no upload and no sign-up.

  • Free, no sign-up
  • Runs in your browser
  • Nothing uploaded or kept

How to use it

  1. Add your files

Drop them in the box, or choose them. PDFs and pictures can be mixed in one file.

  2. Put the pages in order

Drag pages to reorder them, or use the arrows. Rotate or delete any page you do not want.

  3. Download one PDF

Press Download PDF. The pages are saved in the order shown.

Drop PDFs or pictures here

The tool is loading. Add as many files as you like, of any size your device can hold.

Your files stay in this page. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing needs an account.

How merging works here

Every page of every file you add goes into one list. You can move, turn, copy or delete pages in that list, undo any step, and only then save, so you merge and tidy up in one go instead of merging, downloading, and starting again with a second tool.

Merge only some pages

To leave out pages, select them and press Delete before you download. To keep only certain pages of a long file, use Extract pages: type a range such as 1-3, 7, 10- and download just those.

What is carried over

Pages keep their text, pictures and drawings. Document-level extras such as the bookmark panel, links between pages and fillable form fields may not survive a merge, so check the result if your file relies on them.

No limits, and why that is possible

Most online PDF tools upload your file to a server, do the work there and send it back, so they pay for every job and have to ration it. This tool does the work inside your browser instead, so one more file costs nothing and there is nothing to ration. That also means your document never leaves your device.

How it compares

For comparison, iLovePDF's own pricing page (checked 31 October 2026) lists its free plan as merging up to 25 files at a time (500 on Premium) and compressing 2 files per task (10 on Premium), with file-size caps of 100 MB for merging and 200 MB for compressing; Premium costs about $4 to $7 a month. Those are their limits, not ours.

Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

As many as your device's memory holds. The tool sets no limit on the number of files or pages.

Can I merge PDFs and photos together?

Yes. JPG, PNG and iPhone HEIC photos become pages in the same list, sized to A4 or Letter, or kept at their own size, as you choose on the Download tab.

Can I change the order after I add the files?

Yes, as often as you like. Drag pages, use the left and right arrows on each page, or press Alt with an arrow key. Undo and Redo bring back any earlier order.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs in your browser: your files are read and written on your own device and nothing is sent to a server. You can check this yourself by opening your browser's network tab while you use it.

Is there a limit on file size, pages or number of files?

We set none: no cap on files, pages or megabytes, no daily limit and no sign-up. The only limit is your device's memory, and the tool warns you when the files you add come to more than about 400 MB.

What can this not do?

It works on pages: it reorders, turns, deletes, splits, merges and compresses them, and converts pictures and pages. It does not read the text in a scan (no OCR), edit the words inside a page, open password-protected PDFs, or convert to Word or Excel.

Does it add a watermark or anything else to my pages?

No watermark and nothing drawn on your pages. The only trace is the PDF's Producer field, which says the file was made by LetRelay free PDF tools.
