How to use it
Add your HEIC photos

HEIC is opened on your device
Safari opens HEIC itself. Other browsers load a small decoder (about 3 MB) the first time you add a HEIC photo, and use it on your device: the photo is never sent anywhere. The result is a JPEG on a white background inside the PDF.
Orientation is handled
Photos taken sideways or upside down are turned the right way up before they go into the PDF, using the rotation your phone recorded.

No limits, and why that is possible
Most online PDF tools upload your file to a server, do the work there and send it back, so they pay for every job and have to ration it. This tool does the work inside your browser instead, so one more file costs nothing and there is nothing to ration. That also means your document never leaves your device.

How do I convert HEIC to PDF?
Add the HEIC photos, order them, and press Download PDF on the Download tab. Each photo becomes one page.
Why does the first HEIC photo take a moment?
Browsers other than Safari load a decoder the first time one is added. After that it is quick. The decoder runs on your device.
Do HEIC photos lose quality in the PDF?
They are decoded and saved as high-quality JPEGs in the PDF, so a very small amount of detail may be lost compared with the original. Use the Compress tab only if you need to meet a size limit.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool runs in your browser: your files are read and written on your own device and nothing is sent to a server. You can check this yourself by opening your browser's network tab while you use it.
Is there a limit on file size, pages or number of files?
We set none: no cap on files, pages or megabytes, no daily limit and no sign-up. The only limit is your device's memory, and the tool warns you when the files you add come to more than about 400 MB.
What can this not do?
It works on pages: it reorders, turns, deletes, splits, merges and compresses them, and converts pictures and pages. It does not read the text in a scan (no OCR), edit the words inside a page, open password-protected PDFs, or convert to Word or Excel.
Does it add a watermark or anything else to my pages?
No watermark and nothing drawn on your pages. The only trace is the PDF's Producer field, which says the file was made by LetRelay free PDF tools.
