How to use it

  1. Add your PNGs

    Drop PNG images in the box, or choose them. Add as many as you like.

  2. Put them in order

    Drag the pages, rotate any that need it, and delete the ones you do not want.

  3. Choose the page size and download

    On the Download tab pick A4, Letter or the image's own size, then press Download PDF.

PNGs go in unchanged

A PNG is placed in the PDF as it is, so a screenshot stays sharp: nothing is converted to a JPEG and no detail is lost. The tradeoff is size: a PNG of a photo can be large, and the Compress tab will bring the finished PDF down to a limit if you need one.

Screenshots and scans

PNG is the usual format for screenshots, diagrams and scans of text. On A4 or Letter each one is fitted to the page with the margin you choose; with the image's own size the page matches the image at 150 dpi.

Mix with other files

PNG, JPG, HEIC and PDF pages can all be in one list, so a screenshot, a photo and a PDF page end up in one document.

No limits, and why that is possible

Most online PDF tools upload your file to a server, do the work there and send it back, so they pay for every job and have to ration it. This tool does the work inside your browser instead, so one more file costs nothing and there is nothing to ration. That also means your document never leaves your device.

How do I convert a PNG to PDF?

Add the PNG, check the page size on the Download tab and press Download PDF. Add more images first to get several pages.

Does converting reduce the quality of a PNG?

No. The image is placed in the PDF unchanged, so it is as sharp in the PDF as it was.

Can I put several PNGs in one PDF?

Yes. Add them all, order them, and each becomes one page of the same file.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs in your browser: your files are read and written on your own device and nothing is sent to a server. You can check this yourself by opening your browser's network tab while you use it.

Is there a limit on file size, pages or number of files?

We set none: no cap on files, pages or megabytes, no daily limit and no sign-up. The only limit is your device's memory, and the tool warns you when the files you add come to more than about 400 MB.

What can this not do?

It works on pages: it reorders, turns, deletes, splits, merges and compresses them, and converts pictures and pages. It does not read the text in a scan (no OCR), edit the words inside a page, open password-protected PDFs, or convert to Word or Excel.

Does it add a watermark or anything else to my pages?

No watermark and nothing drawn on your pages. The only trace is the PDF's Producer field, which says the file was made by LetRelay free PDF tools.
